Drugstore Concealers- My Favourites

Hi everyone. I can't believe that its December already, 2015 has just flown by. It feels like it was only a few weeks ago that I was back home in Scotland for summer but it was actually 3 months ago! Anyway, recently I have been trying out lots of new  make up products, especially concealers. I have found a few favourites, conveniently all of which have been from boots or superdrug YEY!

The first one from Loreal and its the Lumi Magique concealer. First off can we just appreciate the packaging. The whole tube is rose gold! Its very similar to the YSL touche eclat, in that you twist it up at the bottom, then the concealer comes out from a brush applicator at the top. Its very light coverage and lightweight, but super brightening, so its perfect for under the eyes. Not so much for blemishes because its very light coverage, but its lovely on a good skin day if you just want a little bit of coverage and glow.  The only thing that isn't so great about this is that it only comes in two shades, which is definitely annoying, and you don't really get a lot of product in it, but aside from that I love this one.

My next favourite is on the other end of the spectrum, and  its the Revlon Colorstay Concealer. I love this concealer. Its much fuller coverage than the last one and does a great job of concealing my serious dark circles and any blemish that i have. The only downside about this one is that you definitely have to set this one once you've applied it, as does like to crease a bit in certain areas, but if you apply a light dusting of powder over the top its perfect.

The Rimmel Wake Me Up has been seriously hyped about for quite a few years now and I can definitely see why. Its the perfect blend of the other two i've mentioned, its super dewy and glowy, but also has a great coverage. It's my favourite out of the three and my everyday go to concealer. If your thinking of trying out a new concealer, i would definitely go for this one.

Thats all for my concealer ramble hope you found it helpful. Oh and hope you like by Christmassy backdrop, i got far to excited about it.

Boho Half Up Hair Tutorial

Hey everyone! Today I have got a hair tutorial for you all because I really love the way this hairstyle turned out. It is a simple half up half down style but a bit more messy with a couple of braids to make it a bit more boho. If you try out this hairstyle then let us know on Instagram @fabblog_

1)Separate your hair into a middle parting and scoop up the top level of your hair into a small elastic (should just look like the half up half down hairstyle)

2)Now that half of your hair (the top section) is in a tiny ponytail, tease this hair, giving it volume. Tease it at the front especially so it gives it a more laid back look!

3)Now, with the bottom section of hair that is down, pleat tiny braids throughout hair. I did about six braids altogether but it's totally up to you, just do as many braids as you like! Use little elastics to secure these braids (it's great if they match the colour of your hair!)

4)Now curl/straighten/or just leave the bottom section of your hair. I straightened  it, but curls or gentle waves would also look nice!
